CHAPTER Three- Chaos

DING

“We’re now in Tulsa Oklahoma.” The airplane mistress said over the intercom. The whole time I couldn’t get any sleep. I kept my eyes closed but I didn’t get one wink, all I could do was breath in his strong cologne and think that right next to me was Taylor Hanson. Everything about him kept me occupied, sleep was one of the last things on my mind, though I was deathly tired.

“Well girls,” Diana stated, “We are gonna walk off the plane, make sure to grab some bags. We are going to go strait to the van, which Walker will drive us home in. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

“OK,” Lynn and I said a little nervously. I knew exactly what she was talking about. As I walked off the plane right by Tay I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was just like in all the movies I saw. I always thought it was over exaggerated, but it wasn’t. Photographers we’re everywhere. News reporters began to surround us and then in the distance behind the barricade set up were hundreds of screaming fans. Before I knew it my hand was grabbed by Taylor’s sweaty palm and we ran to the van and quickly got in. The fans were blocked off so they couldn’t do anything to the van, but the reporters and photographers were probably worse. They surrounded the van, hitting the windows, and trying to take pictures of inside the van. Before I knew it Walker had taken off down the road.

“Wow, that was unbelievable,” I said stunned.

“You get used to it,” Ike sighed, but the worst has yet to come. I had forgotten that we were going the Hanson’s house.

“Tulsa’s really beautiful though.” Lynn sighed as she gazed out the car window.

“Yeah, isn’t it the greatest?” Ike asked laughing.

“It’s home sweet home,” Zac sighed. When we pulled up to the house it looked perfect, everything but the screaming fans covering the sidewalks.

“What I want you kids to do is stay here. I am going to unlock the door with the rest of the family. When I do I want all of you kids to grab all you can and run into the house. The police will hold the fans back as best they could.” Walker cautioned. We all shook our heads in agreement. I was scared but Taylor once again grabbed my hand.

“I’ll help you get through, I know you took medicine so you are a little dazed.”

“Thanks.” I smiled. Walker unlocked the door and through the bags in and Makie, Jessie, Avery, and Diana ran in also. He motioned for us to come on. Once we stepped out of the van, the fans screams began to pierce the air. My ears began to swell. I took a few quick glances. It was pure madness. We quickly ran into the house and shut the door. After a few minutes the fans were gone and everything went down to a dull silence. We all looked around and began to laugh. It was more funny then scary. To think that girls do such things, it was just amazing.

“HOME!!” Zac shouted as he went around kissing everything in sight.

“I don’t know him and never met him in my entire life.” Tay laughed.

“Me too!” Ike replied also lugging.

“Your house is very beautiful.” I said calmly.

“It’s really nice.” Lynn said.

“Thank you.” Diana stated, “But right now there is a room that is calling both of your names. Its down the hall, there are two beds so both of you can share. It’s where the new baby will end up sleeping. The boys will show you where it is. I will make dinner but it won’t be ready until around 8pm, so Bre. Try to get some rest.”

“Thanks Diana.” I replied.

“You both are more then welcome.” The boys grabbed our bags and we followed them to the room.

“Well here it is,” Ike said opening the door, “The bathroom is at the way end of the hallway. Ours is right across the hall and our sisters is the door right next to yours. Our parents is near the bathroom.”

“Thanks a lot.” Lynn and I said in unison.

“Your welcome. We will leave you two alone now.” Tay said as he shut the door.
