CHAPTER Seventeen-Two Months Early, Two Tears Fallin

“Good morning,” Tay said to me as I opened my eyes.

“Last night was amazing, I love you,” I whispered back.

“I love you too.” We both sat up in bed.

“Where are Zac and Lynn?” I asked curiously.

“Well they left this note,” he said handing me a piece of torn notebook paper with scribbled writing. I fought to read it.

Dear Tay and Bre, Lynn and I left to her house. We want to be alone for the day. We are SURE you two can find something else to do! Lynn’s parents are still visiting Lynn’s relatives in New Jersey. They called and said traffic was horrendous and that they probably wouldn’t get back until tonight or tomorrow night. They also said that Lynn and I could stay there. Oh yeah, Ike already called. He will be at Bre’s house around 10:00pm. He is taking Elizabeth out. See you tonight or sooner!

Zac and Lynn
I put the piece of notebook paper back on nightstand and looked at Tay.

“God no one wants to be with us,” he laughed.

“I know...what time is it Tay?” I asked.

“Let’s just say we slept in! It is actually 11:30,” he said stunned.

“God, we must have needed sleep!” I sighed.

“So what so you want to do today?” he asked again.

“How about we go see a movie,” I suggested.

“Yeah, we never did see a movie together,” he sighed.

“I know what’s up wit dat?” I said in a homey voice. We both began to laugh hysterically.

“I don’t know,” he laughed, “What do you want to see? You choose...”

“Titanic,” we both said together smiling. We both knew it was the new ‘craze’ and since a movie was something neither of us had time to do we both decided to make the best of it.

“Well lets get ready and then head out,” he said getting out of bed.

* * *
Tay and I sat in the movie theater waiting for the movie to start...kissing. I pulled away and took a drink of my slushy and then looked at him again. I moved my face closer to his and he shoved popcorn in my mouth. I laughed and chewed popcorn went on his shirt.

“Ooops!! Sorry!” I laughed loudly. He didn’t answer he just laughed. “It’s OK.” He took his Snow-Caps and dumped some on my head. “Yuck!” I yelled softly. Suddenly the movie screen lit up and we both just sat quietly and our smiles turned to strait faces with interested glares.

* * *
Zac and Lynn sat on the couch watching their normal Brady Bunch re-runs that they both loved so much. Suddenly, Zac started to kiss Lynn deeply and compassionately. They fell to the floor. Zac began to kiss Lynn’s neck.

“Zac stop. Not here. Let’s go to my room.”

“But why?” Zac whined still kissing her neck.

“Because. It doesn’t fell right here...and if we are going to fool around like this I want to do it right,” she sighed.

“Fine,” Zac moaned. They both ran up to Lynn’s room. Zac gently laid her on her bed and got on top of her. He put a pillow under her head started kissing the back of her neck running his hands through her silky black hair breathing in the familiar scent of oranges that he loved so much. He began to kiss her whole face and the tip of her nose. She shivered gently. Her body at never felt the way it did at that moment. It felt as if her whole inside was breaking away from the baby instincts it had grown up on...she was becoming a women. Little did she know Zac felt the same. Lynn undid his hair from the ponytail he was wearing it in and it fell all over her face. She loved it. He put his hands under her shirt and began rubbing her body cautiously. He soon felt less embarrassed about it and began to rub higher and harder then before. Soon both their shirts laid on the floor. He began to kiss her stomach and under her chest. He began to nuzzle her neck and he undid her pants. Lynn quickly shot up.

“No not there, not yet,” she said breathlessly. He moved his hands away and back on to her shoulders.

* * *
Tay began to nuzzle up next to me. Suddenly a voice inside of me told me to go for it. I decided to change the tone a bit and to see what he would do. Instead of him making the moves on me I decided to be the bad girl this time...not a goody goody. He started to kiss my neck gently. I began to pay no attention to the movie, instead my attention focused on Tay. We were both making out deeply and luckily the people around us weren’t the type to go tattle. The surge of naughtiness ran through my body and I began to unbutton the first three buttons of his shirt. I began to kiss the top of his chest very passionately. Taylor began to squirm from underneath me and tried his hardest to get out of the predicament he had gotten himself into.

“Bre stop we are in a movie theater,” he whispered. I continued to kiss him.

“Bre stop!” he whispered louder. I stopped and looked into his eyes. I loved the way he looked, so helpless and vonuerlable, it made me feel good to know I was pleasing him so much. He began to kiss my neck once again.

“Tay it’s bad enough I have hickeys all over one side of my neck...I don’t need them on the other side too,” I whispered.

“Why would it be so bad?” he smirked.

“People will stare Tay!” I yelled a little loudly and people quickly whispered to tell me to be quite. I listened and began to watch the movie contently, as did he.

* * *
“Ike stop,” Liz said sternly.

“Come on,” Ike moaned trying to push Elizabeth back down on her couch.

“Ike no, STOP!” she yelled. Liz through Ike off her and they both sat up striating their shirts. “The kissing was fine Ike, but I don’t want to do anything else. We only met yesterday,” she said looking in his eyes, “I don’t want you to try and have sex with me.”

“I’m sorry, what I did was wrong. I won’t do it again. I promise,” he whispered, “Elizabeth can I take you out for something to eat tonight?” he asked.

“Why I would love that Isaac Hanson,” she smiled widely.

“Great how about pizza?” he asked.

“Sure. We can have it delivered. My parents aren’t going to be here,” she suggested.

“Even better,” he replied happily.

“Come on Ike lets go tell my mom we are leaving.”

“Where are we going?” he asked blankly.

“To the movies,” she answered as if he was already suppose to know.

“And when were you going to tell me?” he laughed.

“I don’t know,” she said lovingly.

“What movie are we seeing? I mean you must know since you planned this all out without me.”

“Titanic,” she said firmly.

“Oh, what fun...Leonardo Dicaprio...” Isaac sighed miserably under is breath. They both ran upstairs into the kitchen. Elizabeth’s mom sat talking on the phone sipping her hot tea.

“Mom were going to the movies,” Elizabeth said softly.

“Sure, remember when you guys get back we won’t be here, have fun. Do you need money?” she asked. Elizabeth loved her mom, but only to a point. Elizabeth's mother was never home, these past few days were lucky ones where she was. Her mom worked in New York and was never around, her father raised her and taught her everything she needed to know. Elizabeth was kind to her mom, but she could never truely love her mother like she always wanted to. If God ever asked her if she wanted another mother she would quickly answer yes...she would love to see what a mother was really like, what a mother should be.

“Nope, we got the money. We are coming back here to eat dinner after the movie and then we are going over Bre’s for the night,” Elizabeth replied taking a sip of her Mom’s tea. The thought of her daughter staying at a friends house with her boyfriend crossed her mind. She knew she could trust Elizabeth though and she was busy with work so she really didn't have the time to worry.

“Have fun,” she said again shooing them out of the kitchen so she could finish her conversation. Elizabeth quickly kissed her mom and they both walked out the back door.

* * *
Tay and I were walking out of the movies hand in hand. The movie theater was packed because of the movie.

“The movie was great Tay. Thank you.”

“Your welcome,” he said bending down to touch his lips with mine. I looked around at all the people and then noticed to blondes about the same height. I finally got a good enough glimpse to notice it was Liz and Ike.

“Hey Tay look who it is!” I laughed.

“Hey, guys,” Tay said waving to them both. They both walked over to us and smiled.

“Hi,” they both said together.

“What are you seeing?” I asked.

“Titanic,” Ike moaned.

“That is just what we saw, it was great,” I smiled. Tay walked over and whispered to Ike, “That’s only because Leonardo Dicaprio was in it.” he laughed in a whisper, “It was stupid.”

“Damnit,” Ike sighed, “Oh well I will have to live.”

“Oh we will be coming back to your house for the night,” Liz smiled.

“OK, but you guys will I guess be in the guest room. I will have Lynn and Zac share my parents room and then Tay you can stay in my room then,” I smiled.

“OK, thanks. Well we gotta go! Bye,” Ike said as they both walked away.

* * *
“Do you want to stay at your house tonight Lynn?” Zac asked looking over at Lynn.

“No let’s go back to Bre’s tonight. I wanna hang out with everyone tonight if you don’t mind.”

“Not at all. That would be a good idea anyway,” he sighed. Lynn and Zac laid on her bed. They were both sweating and were beat red from the fun they had, had before. Suddenly Lynn heard the front door open and knew right away who it was.

“Shit, Zac get your shirt on! My parents must be home early,” Lynn said as her stomach asched inside. The last thing she ever needed was for her parents to find out she had been in bed with Zac. We didn’t have intercourse though. So they can’t get that mad...but they WON’T find out, she said sternly to herself.

“Shit!” Zac yelled loudly. Lynn and Zac quickly ran down the stairs, still beat red and sweaty.

“Hi mom,” Lynn said happily.

“Are you two the only ones here?” Lynn’s mom asked looking at them both. She didn’t know what to think.

“Yes,” they both said quietly.

“May I ask why you two are all sweaty and red in the faces?” he father asked as he put a few bags on the kitchen counter. Zac and Lynn followed both of them into the kitchen.

“Uhh...well you see...um...”Lynn began.

“What Lynn is trying to say is that we were just upstairs cleaning. We wanted the house to be nice and clean when you guys got home...we also wanted it to be a surprise. But since you came home so early it couldn’t be,” Zac said so strongly that even Lynn thought he wasn’t lieing.

“Yeah, that’s it...in a nutshell,” Lynn smirked. Her stomach calmed down and she breathed deeply in relief.

“Oh, thank you both. Zac why don’t you stay in here with James for one second while I talk to Lynn alone for a minute,” Lynn’s mother said pushing Lynn into the sitting room and closing the door behind them both. Lynn sat in the leather recliner as her mother sat near her on the couch.

“Now I believe you Lynn, with all my heart. But I think it is time we talk about...sex,” Lynn’s mom began.

“Mom...” Lynn moaned.

“Honey, it’s just time you learned. Because you and Zac were alone and anything could have happened, and I’m not saying that anything did.”

“Mom I don’t need a lecture. I know how sexual intercourse works. I took sex-Ed mom...” Her mom looked at her daughter softly and smiled. “all right, but if you ever need some questions answered I’m here.”

“Thanks. I’ll remember that,” Lynn said walking out of the room.

* * *
Zac and Lynn sat on her bed talking.

“What was that all about?” he asked smiling.

“She wanted to give me the sex talk. But I talked her out of it. I told her that I already got taught sex-Ed...which of course I did,” Lynn moaned, “I HATE growing up and I hate how parents act when you are a teen. I hate the facts and things you get thrown at you when you are a teen and most of all I hate puberty,” Lynn moaned louder. Zac burst out laughing. He fell on his stomach and laughed until it hurt.

“You can only laugh because you haven’t gone through puberty!” Lynn shot back.

“How do you know?” he said as he sat up.

“I’m not even going to get into this with you Zac.” They both laughed again.

“Come on Zac, let’s go back to Bre’s I don’t want to be here anymore. Once the word sex comes out of your mothers mouth...you gotta get outta there.” They both walked downstairs once again. Lynn walked over to her mom not exactly making eye contact...or at least not as much as she usually did.

“Mom Zac and I are going over Bre’s now. Bye,” Lynn said quickly as she began to walk away with Zac by her side.

“Kids wait,” she began, “I am going out to do some errands, so I can drive you both over there. Plus it is very far.”

“Mom it’s no big deal...really. We can just hop on a bus.” Lynn’s mom stood up and got her purse. “No, no. Don’t be silly. I’ll drive you,” she smiled. Lynn knew there was no use in fighting with her mom. Her mom would only win. They all walked outside and got in the car. They drove about ten minute’s in silence until they got to the front of Bre’s house.

“Well guys we’re here. Have fun tonight,” Lynn’s mom smiled.

“We will,” they both said as they quickly got out of the car and ran up the steps. Tay and I looked out the window.

“I thought you guys weren’t coming until later,” I said opening the door. Lynn and Zac rushed through the door and closed it behind them.

“Sudden schedule change,” they both said sharply.

“Um, OK. Cool I think,” Tay laughed. “Ike and Elizabeth are staying over the night too. They are coming after they have dinner later though. So we all will be one happy family,” he said playfully.

“What ARE we doing for food anyway?” Zac asked sitting on the couch.

“Whatever you want...find food,” I sighed. They all shook their heads in agreement.

* * *
After we ate dinner it was around 8:00pm. Ike and Elizabeth pulled up in his rent a car. They walked up the steps slowly and then just let themselves in.

“Hey guys,” Ike smiled.

“Hi,” we all greeted.

“I like your house Bre,” Ike sighed.

“Thanks,” I smiled back. We all sat down and started talking the night away.

“So Ike. Bre tells me that your mom’s pregnant with baby number seven?” Liz asked.

“Yeah. I don’t know HOW my parents find the strength, or the time for sex,” he laughed, “Plus, you think they would have learned their lesson by now.” We all laughed.

“Tell her I said congratulations,” Liz smiled.

“We will,” Tay said softly. We continued talking and Tay kept rubbing the inside of my thigh and I kept squirming away.

“Tay stop,” I whispered, “Not now,” I said sternly.

“Sorry,” he said turning a little red.

“That’s all right,” I said giving him a quick kiss.

“Oh yeah, my mom said her and my dad found a place in Tulsa. They are all packed and ready to leave with us on Thursday,” Lynn half-smiled.

“Cool,” we all added one after another. We continued talking for another two hours...about nothing. We all went to out rooms and got settled in after our long gossip session. Suddenly the phone rang and Tay jumped out of bed and into the kitchen to answer it.

“Hello?” he said quietly.

“Taylor? This is your father,” a groggy voice stated. The voice seemed tired, and worn out.

“Dad, why are you calling?” Tay asked surprised.

“It’s your mother...” he began.

“Yeah?” Tay asked as if he didn’t want to know at all. He began to get scared.

“She is in labor, two months early and she is very ill. They don’t know why or how, but she wants you here and Bre’s parents want Bre back here as well, so does your mother...in fact she wants Lynn and Bre. Just in case something happens,” he sighed sadly, not wanting to tell his son this horrifying news.

“Dad how serious is this?” Tay asked more scared then ever.

“Very,” he said in one word.

“We will be there by tomorrow.”

“Tay, tomorrow isn’t good enough. Get here tonight, get on a plane as SOON as you can...make ways to get here Taylor. We’re all at the hospital, get on a flight as soon as you can in the next hour...Taylor I am counting on you. Come strait to the hospital, have Isaac drive.”

“We will be there,” Tay said with tears coming down his cheeks, “And dad, in case anything happens. Tell mom I love her with all my heart and soul.”

“Yes, now hurry!” Tay hung up the phone.

“Ike, Zac, EVERYONE GET IN HERE!” he yelled with flem in his throat.

“Tay what’s wrong?” Ike asked. I quickly ran over and embraced Tay.

“Pack your bags. Mom’s in labor two months early and she’s very ill. They doctors don’t know why. She wants EVERYONE home in case anything happens,” at this point Tay had broken down. Ike and Zac’s faces fell. They both had terrified looks. Zac turned to Lynn and started to cry.

“Elizabeth, please come, I need you with me. You have to come,” he stuttered.

“I will do my best. Let me run home,” she sighed. She hadn't known Ike that long, but she knew that he had a mother she only wished she could have, and she could only imagine the pain he was in. She felt for him and she couldn't beileve that she didn't want to see him hurting, she wanted to be there for him. Am I moving to fast?she thought. She quickly shook the thought out of her head.

* * *
We got to Elizabeth’s. On the way there Isaac had called on his cell phone and the next flight would leave at 10:00pm. It was nine and Elizabeth had just enough time to run home.

* * *
“Mom Ike needs me, he’s scared half to death, and so am I!!!” Elizabeth yelled and cried. “Elizabeth, no!! He can deal without you. No one is there to watch you! You just met!” she yelled back. “Yes, Bre’s mom can! She’ll watch me! You won't even be home to worry about me anyway! You never are! Now let me go, please! PLEASE!!” Elizabeth begged. Her mother saw the tears running down her daughters cheeks and relized by her words that they would only fight and she wouldn't be able to get work done. She knew that she could count on her best friend to take care of Elizabeth. Bre’s mother had so many times before that she finally fell through.

“Fine,” she sighed helplessly, “I will see you in a week. Call me, I love you.”

“THANK YOU!!” she cried, refusing to let herself say the three words. Elizabeth grabbed her bags and ran with all her might to the car.

“Let’s go!” she yelled.

* * *
“Isn’t there a sooner flight!” Tay demanded at the ticket desk.

“Are you Hanson?” the girl asked. Taylor was going to hate himself for doing what he was about to, but he had to. He was doing it for his mother.

“Yes! And if you don’t get us the fastest plane to Tulsa I will make sure to write a LONG letter about your flight services to the board!” he yelled.

“We will get a private plane for you. Go to gate 41. That will take you strait to Tulsa in an hour.”

“Thank you,” we all smiled. It was only 9:45pm which meant you would get to Tulsa at 10:45. It was turning out much better then expected.

“Come on guys RUN!!” Ike yelled gaining speed. We ran as fast as we could to the private jet. Taylor knew he shouldn’t have done that...but his mother needed him and his brothers and the girls.

“Ike can I have your cell phone for a minute so I can tell my parents where I am...this is going to be one HELL of a phone convo,” Lynn sighed. He quickly handed Lynn his phone. She dialed her phone number and the plane took off in the process.

“Mom?” Lynn asked.

“Lynn where are you?” her mother asked blankly.

“Um...well...let’s see...how do I tell you this...I am in a plane to Tulsa,” Lynn said quietly pulling the phone away from her ear.

“LYNN MARIE PELLICANO!!!! HOW DARE YOU LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING ME!! AND AT 9:45 AT NIGHT!! YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD REASON YOUNG LADY!!!” Lynn put the phone back up to her ear. She explained to her mother the situation and her mother understood and calmed down incredibly.

“You teens. I will be up tomorrow with your father,” she sighed.

“Bye mom.”

“Bye.”

* * *
“Zac it’s all right,” Lynn said soothingly. Zac was scared and Lynn could tell. He said nothing and looked strait. There were tears falling from his eyes rolling down his cheeks. She brushed them away gently.

“Lynn, I’m scared. I don’t want her to die, nor the baby.”

“Zac come here. She won’t die and neither will the baby...I promise.” She hugged him tight. It was a comforting hug.

* * *
I was holding Tay in my arms caressing his hair and wiping away his tears.

“Bre will she die?” he asked quietly. It seemed as if the question of death of going through each Hanson Boy’s head. I held him tighter.

“No Tay, your mother is strong.” Tears fell from my eyes as well. Inside I prayed, Please God. She means the world to us. Let her be strong, let the baby live and be strong. Please, I begged.

“But Bre, I’m scared to death. Without her I don’t think I can live,” he cried.

“Tay, don’t say that please. She will live. You will live. Hanson’s are strong...and wonderful,” I whispered. I continued to run my hands through his hair and wipe away his tears.

* * *
“Elizabeth, will she die?” Ike asked, “You never even met her, she doesn’t even know about you. I love her more then life itself.”

“Ike, she will not die. Be strong. I will meet her. She’s very thoughtful and strong. She will pull through and so will the baby.” The first tear fell from Ike’s eyes. He believed what Elizabeth said. But he was scared, how was his father handling this? Would the baby pull through? Out of his brothers he was not one to cry. He was one to think about all the options and sides of the problem. But this time he was TOO scared to think. This was his mother he was talking about. This was his life. He just broke down crying. Elizabeth was there by his side. She grabbed him tight.

“Just let it all out Ike. Cry your heart out...it’s OK,” she sighed behind his shoulder.
