“Morning, “ she groaned as she squinted her eyes to keep the sun out.
“Come on sleepy head get up,” I laughed.
“Wow, your dressed already.”
“Well yea its kinda late in the morning. But you and Zac have yet to get ready so come on. Well I gotta go ‘cause Tay wants to talk to me downstairs, bye.” I chimed.
“OK, whatever. I will be ready,” she said in a tired voice.
I walked down the hallway and sat by Taylor on the couch.
“So what’s up?”
“Here’s some backstage passes since tomorrow we have to work all day for the concert. You can come if you like but I’m sure you’d like to do other things.”
“No way!!” I yelled, “I wanna go with you guys!”
“Great,” he smiled.
“What’s on the agenda for today anyway Tay?” I asked.
“Whatever you would like,” he said looking at me.
“Well actually I would like to see the sights here. If you don’t mind.”
“Sure the five of us can go. Ike can drive us, it will be fun.”
“MOM!!” Tay yelled loudly.
“What? Taylor you don't have to yell so loudly dear.” Diana asked.
“Ike’s gonna take the five of us to show the girls the sights. Is that OK?”
“Sure. We will be home if you need us. Bye!” she yelled.
“Bye mom!”
“Zac goes crazy here so watch out!” cautioned Ike.
“Have you ever played before?” Tay asked as we walked from the car through the parking lot.
“Yup,” I stated, “Once.”
“I’ve played once or twice.” Lynn said proudly.
“This will be easier then I thought.” Zac grinned as he pulled open the doors to the building.
After we paid we all got suited up and grabbed our guns. The instructor took us to a session to show everyone how to play. Zac paid no attention, for he was well aware of how the rules went. When we walked into the pitch black room, the cool air gave my skin goosebumps. All the places to hide glowed in the dark with neon colors. It was like a dream. We played about four games and then we all surrendered to Zac, who obviously won all the games. After we finished with our fun at Laser Quest it was noon. We had gotten a late start thanks to Lynn and Zac. We decided to get some lunch. So we pulled into the drive up and McDonald’s and we all got a cheeseburger. Of course Zac ate his up before he even took our first bite. We all giggled at the site.
“Manners”, stated Tay, “M-A-N-N-E-R-S, use them.” he laughed giving Zac an evil eye.
Zac quickly returned the gesture by sticking his tongue out and returning the glare. We all just laughed. When Zac and Tay fought, it was harmless brutality. It was also hysertical fighting.
“Where to now?” Ike asked.
“Can we please go to the Blue Rose cafe?” Lynn begged.
“Sure,” Ike smiled.
When we got tot the Blue Rose Cafe I was in awe along with Lynn. It was a beautiful place.
“Come on let’s go over there. That’s where we performed,” Ike mentioned. His finger pointed to the parking lot that looked full of cars.
“When we played the parking lot was blocked off,” Zac added.
We walked around in the parking lot, until all hell broke loose. It wasn’t long until a mob of girls ran up to us. Lynn and I got pushed to the side quickly by the girl. All they wanted we Hanson, not the two girls they were walking with. The mob was only twenty girls so the boys gave us looks of sorrow and then gave each of the twenty girls their autographs. Once we got back in the car the chaos was over.
“Sorry,” they each said after the other.
“That’s OK. We totally understand what you guys have to do. It’s really no problem,” I replied.
“Why don't I take the long way home. Then Bre and Lynn can see the country side of Tulsa. It’s beautiful,” Ike suggested.
“Yeah good idea,” Tay replied.
“Sure,” Lynn and I smiled.
Isaac was right. They lived in the suburbs of Tulsa, yet the other part of Tulsa was beautiful. It was just like the country side. The air smelt of freshly cut green grass and the roads were all dirt. The houses were all farms and the yards were large, larger then theirs and that’s hard to beat. Horses ran around in the picket fence areas they were put in. Coming from Connecticut I didn’t see much of that type of land. I had gone to Vermont a lot, but nothing could compare to the beauty this land possessed. Lynn and I melt at the sight. Isaac was right...it was beautiful.
“Get your coats!!” Diana yelled from in her room as we walked in, “We’re going out to eat!!”
“Cool,” Zac and Lynn said at the same time.
“Jinx,” Lynn said before Zac. We all laughed.
“Now Zac remember what I told you about manners,” Tay laughed, “Use them,” he said closing the door behind him because he was the last one out.
“You all should go get some rest for tomorrow, it’s going to be a long long day,” Diana said.
All the boys yawned.
“Mom’s right. Goodnight you guys.” all the boys said.
“Goodnight,” Lynn and I said in unison.
We closed the door to our room, quickly changed, and laid in bed talking.
“Today was so much fun,” I told Lynn.
“Yeah, I took a lot of pictures of you and Tay. You two were so cute today. He is really nice and sweet.”
“So is Zac,” I said, “I got some cute pictures of you and Zac too!”
“I got pictures of you Tay,” Zac mimicked.
“You two are so cute and sweet,” Ike said in a very high voice.
There was a sudden knock at the boys room door. Both Zac and Tay ran to open it, but Tay go there first. Zac stood next to him as he opened. Lynn and I stuck out our arms and smacked both of them upside the head.
“That wasn’t funny,” we laughed.
“Oww!!” Zac yelled.
Suddenly all three of the boys grabbed us and pushed us on the floor. All three of them began tickling us to death.
“Obviously you found it funny if you are laughing,” Tay smiled as he continued tickling Lynn and I with his brothers.
I couldn’t say a word. I was laughing way to hard and trying to brake free. Lynn and I kicked and rolled, but part of me didn’t want to. It wasn’t every day you had all three Hanson brothers on you tickling you to death. Finally, it all ended.
“Goodnight,” Tay smiled as he kissed me on both of my cheeks.
“Sweet-dreams,” I whispered.
I looked to my side and Lynn and Zac were kissing deeply. I pulled Lynn away and walked away.
“Hey!” Zac yelled, “We weren’t done!”
“You are now,” Tay laughed.
“Shut-up,” he said laying down in his pull out bed.
